It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden, peaceful passing of our mother, Geraldine (Gerry) Chapman (nee Cunningham), on October 29, 2023, in her 85th year. Loving and devoted mother to Donna, Bob (Julie), and Linda. Proud grandmother to Suzanne (Justin) and Amanda, and fun-loving great grandmother to Victoria, Sophia, Nicholas, and Chloe. She is fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and will be dearly missed by many friends and family.
Our family finds great comfort knowing that Gerry is now reunited with her beloved husband of 60 years, and our loving father, Tom, who passed away on November 30, 2020. Having known each other since the ages of 4 and 2, "Tom and Gerry" grew up together as next door neighbours and schoolmates in Toronto. Inevitably, they began a courtship and eventually married in 1960. Their dedication and devotion to family and friends will always be cherished by all who knew them.
As they were inseparable in life, we will be remembering both our "Ma and Pa" together, as we feel it should be.
Family and friends will be welcomed at Accettone Funeral Home, 384 Finley Ave, Ajax. from 2:00pm until 4:00pm on Sunday, November 12, 2023. Light refreshments will be served.
Remembrances may be made in Gerry's memory to the Alzheimer's Society.

Donna, Bob/Julie, Linda, yes mom and dad are once again lovingly together. All of the Chapman family including Granma and Granpa Chapman came into my life way back in 1972. The Ajax Pizza police car, the police bingo bus, Xmas Eve get togethers, Sunny Acres, Granma Cunningham, Charlie and Betty, John Nowotny and the fella who always had to borrow a dollar all played a big part of the Chapman clans life. Gerry, Tom, Donna, Bob, Linda a human family chain of devotion and love to one another. What a privilege for the Hamilton’s to be a big part of a # one fun loving family. “ALWAYS”
